Phillip and Wyatt have to be the cutest two boys ever. (NO BIAS) They are doing very well and continue to make baby steps. Phillip came off of his IV this morning, therefore, both of them are only on their feeding tubes and heart monitors. We continue to try and teach them breast/bottle feeding. Wyatt is catching on a little better than Phillip, but neither is a pro yet. Once they are feeding on a regular basis with little effort we should be able to bring them home. There is no telling how long this will take, but hopefully it will be soon. Wyatt weighs 3lb 5 oz and Phillip weighs 4lbs 5 oz. They seem to gain about an ounce a day, and hopefully Wyatt will one day catch up with his brother. We are changing their diapers and holding them daily. Today was the first time I got peed on and I can bet it will not be the last. Wyatt felt fresh air and had to let it go. Once again, thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers over the past few weeks and we hope to see all of you soon. (But not too soon if you are sick when we bring the boys home) Their health is our first concern.
P.S. For those of you wanting to know, Sierra is fine. I took her soft cast off today. She has not felt a thing, she is constantly bugging me to in her own words "throw the ball, throw the ball, come on, throw the ball, throw the ball, throw it , throw it, throw the ball, ah shucks." (Typical lab)
